Age of the vineyards: 8 – 15 years Production per hectare: 10 – 12 Tons Altitude of the vineyards: 350 – 400 meters Production area: North-eastern part of the Basilicata region. Harvest period: From 5th to 20th September. Harvest method: Selection of the grapes, harvested by hand, in 12 – 15 kg crates in the early hours of the morning and immediate transport of the same to the cellar. Vinification: Crushing, destemming and immediate pressing of the grapes, fermentation of the must with inoculation of selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 15° to 18° C. in stainless steel tanks. Bottling: Filtration and cold bottling. Packaging and Bottling: Standard Bordeaux type bottle, AG green color, cases of 6 75cl bottles. weighing 7.2 kg Organoleptic characteristics and technical comment: The optimal maturation of the grapes together with their excellent health and careful winemaking have contributed to the production of an elegant quality wine. It has a light straw yellow colour, a fruity bouquet typical of the varieties, fresh, broad and intense, a fresh, soft and delicate flavour, with a slight hint of bitterness, very pleasant in its harmony. Ideal both as an aperitif and with starters, risottos, shellfish and seafood dishes. It should be served at 10° – 12°C. and consume within 18 months.
