TYPE: Young grappa, single-variety “Moscato”
GRAPE VARIETY: Moscato Bianco from Basilicata, whose pomace arrives at the distillery freshly drawn off and rich in must.
HARVEST TIME: First ten days of September.
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 38%, “typical”
DISTILLATION: Distilled with a continuous and discontinuous still in a bain-marie, favoring the cleanliness of the distillate, according to the Da Ponte Method.
VISUAL SENSATIONS: Crystal clear
OLFACTORY SENSATIONS: intense, aromatic and persistent, with the characteristic fragrances of the original vine; slight hint of vine shoot.
TASTING SENSATIONS: It is soft, warm and intriguing on the palate, with final hints of white flowers.
RECOMMENDED GLASS: tulip shaped
SERVING TEMPERATURE: It should be served at room temperature, excellent in summer at 8-10°C.
